Summary
Kartbladnr. og -navn (M 1:50.000) forts.: I alt 42 kartblad Rapporten presenterer eit magnetisk residualfeltkart i farger over Finnmarksvidda i målestokk 1:250.000.

Summary
Forkortet: The Pasvik groundwater-monitoring project started with the establishment of three monitoring stations in Skjellbekken, Svanvik and Karpdalen at the end of September 2003. Skjellbekken station is about 30 km Southwest of Nikel, Svanvik is about 7 km west of Nikel while the Karpdalen is about 25 km NNE of Nikel. All three wells are established in quaternary desposits and are equipped with PEH casing suitable for groundwater chemistry monitoring. A total of three samples were collected from each station between October and December 2003. The samples were analysed for cation concentrations by inductively coupled plasma-atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES: Si, Fe, Ti, Mg, Ca, Na, K, Mn, P, Cu, Zn, V, Ba, Sr, Ag, Sc, Y), heavy metals and trace elements by inductively coupled plasma.mass spectrometry (ICP-MS: Al, B, Be, Cd, Co, Cr, Li, Mo, Ni, Pb, Rb, La, Ce, Zr), anionsby ion chromatography (IC: Br, Cl, F, No3, No2 Po4, So4), alkalinity, pH, turbidity, and colour. The analysis results canb e considred reliable since the ionic charge balance is below 5% for all analyses. The data set is still too small to make any meaningful interpretations and conclusions from the analytical results....

Summary
Forkortet:
The permian Oslo Field contains a large number of interestin magnetic anomalies associated with magmatic rock bodies (lavas, dikes, calderas, and plutons). The area is characterized by large-scale circular to elliptical anomalies related to calderas and plutons, and by linear magnetic anomalies of various trends. The linear anomalies can be subdivided into three genetically different groups, which relate to: 1) Precambrian basement foliation and Paleozoic bedding, 2) Permian dikes that in turn often follow faults, 3) Deep weathering of pre-existing weaknesses (joints, faults, and possibility dikes). The first group is not of particular interest to this study and is readily excluded by comparing the anomalies with the geologic map. Anomalies related to dikes and deep weathering tend to crosscut the geology and are hence also easy to distinguis. Separating dikes from deeply weathered joints and faults can be more difficult. By in large, deeply weathered joints tend to have a negative anomaly and correlate with linear topographic depressions. Generally, dikes tend to have to have a positive anomaly, although dikes with negative anomalies do exist. Field checks of the anomalies can generally test if a trend in an area relates to dikes or weaathering. A criteria that also helps separating weathering from dikes is the width of the anomalies - those associated with deep weathering tend to be wider than the dike anomalies.
