Summary
The Geological Survey of Norway is in the process of making out an inventory of hard rock aggregate deposits in coastal Norway. This report contains a catalogue of Norwegian coastal quarries at present in production and potential production areas along the coast of southern Norway. 9 million tons of aggregates were exportet to Europe in 2000 and ca. 2 million tons was used in the offshore industry (continental shelf).
