Summary
The Geological Survey of Norway is in the process of making an inventory of hard-rock aggregate deposits in coastal Norway. This report contains a cata- logue of Norwegian coastal quarries at present in production and of potential resources along the coast of southern Norway. 8.2 million tons og aggregates were exported to Europe in 1997 and ca. 0.9 million tons was used offshore (continental shelf).
