Anchoring conditions
The map of anchoring conditions is based on the bottom sediment and bathymetry maps. Fish farmers and the harbour authorities are amongst those that use these maps.

The data used to produce maps of anchoring conditions are mainly maps of seabed sediments and bathymetry. In addition to identifying areas of the seabed where anchoring is optimal, we also indicate areas where it is possible to fasten bolts (bedrock at depths down to 30 m). This dataset can be used by harbour authorities, fish farmers, and by vessels that wish to anchor in routine or emergency situations.
