March 2-5 2025, PDAC in Toronto gathers 27 000 representatives and more than 1100 exhibitors. This year, the Geological Survey of Norway (NGU) chairs the annual seminar Nordic Mining Day, a side-event at the covention.
Nordic Mining Day is an annual event focused on exploring and exploiting the vast mineral potential in the Nordic Region, co-hosted by the Finnish, Norwegian, and Swedish geological surveys and trade offices. The 2025 event is chaired by Norway. Among the 180 participants are experts, policians, policy makers, investors, industry managers and trade offices officials.
Strategic communication and networking
- PDAC in Toronto is a leading event for NGU and the other Nordic geological surveys to showcase the Nordic mineral potential. Current geopoltics demonstrate the importance of European self-sufficieny and sustainable value chains, and this will be demonstrated both through presentaions and panel debates during our event, says Department Director, Henrik Schiellerup.
