NGU invites ore exploration industry to a workshop 14th and 15th of February 2023 (lunch to lunch) aimed at streamlining data accessibility, information quality and collaboration.

NGU maintains the largest collection of geological, geochemical, geophysical, and deposit data in Norway. But how well do you know these data?

The shift to greener technology requires increased access to locally sourced critical metals and other commodities. To support this shift, NGU strives towards the best possible solutions for data availability and quality.

We therefore invite representatives from the ore exploration industry in Norway to discuss and improve your experience with NGU and data availability for your exploration projects in Norway.

Also, technical advances now allow us to collect a range of data that was unavailable just a few years ago. We will present these analytical facilities and their inherent possibilities with regard to ore geology exploration and research.
