Modeling has two projects planned out so far. One (5.6.1) concentrates on developing a relational data-base/GIS of NORPAST palaeoclimatic data in a form directly useable by the modelling community. The other project (5.6.2) will model the Fennoscandian ice sheet under different ice-sheet configurations. The modeling task is, however, expected to evolve over the NORPAST period and it is foreseen that other projects will be started in cooperation with RegClim and other modeling communities.
