The IAGA Global Paleomagnetic Database contains published palaeomagnetic poles and directions.  The database, funded internationally, was created by Mike McElhinny and Jo Lock, later maintained by Sergei Pisarevsky. This online implementation of the database was produced by Mark Smethurst and co-workers at the Geological Survey of Norway.

This web site provides online access to the contents of the database.  Several methods of querying the database are provided.  Those who wish to download the complete database in Microsoft Access format are referred to the World Data Center-A.
