Bedrock geology
NGU has carried out mapping on Norway's bedrock geology. Bedrock maps covering the entire country at a scale of 1:250.000 have been published.

Surficial deposits
Overview on surficial deposits in Norway.
MAREANO
MAREANO maps depth and topography, sediment composition, contaminants, biotopes and habitats in Norwegian waters. The surveys are conducted by NGU in cooperation with The Norwegian Mapping Authority and The Institute of Marine Research and the results are available on the MAREANO website.
Gravel and hard rock aggregate database
Overview on most sand, gravel and hard rock aggregate quarries in Norway that provide raw material for the building industry.
Mineral resources
This database provide an overview on Norwegian deposits of metals, industrial minerals and natural stone. It provides easy access to a variety of information including map-views, facts, field descriptions and claims.
Permafrost Norwegian mainland og Svalbard
The NORPERM database provides information on ground temperatures from boreholes and from miniature temperature dataloggers (MTDs) near the ground-surface.
Ground water
The Groundwater Section at NGU run a groundwater database (GRANADA) that contains information on wells, natural springs, groundwater resources, -quality and -surveillance.
Skrednett
Skrednett is a service provided by Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate (NVE). Here you find data about landslides and landslide risks which can be used by public and private land use planning.
Geofysikk
Overview on NGUs geophysical mapping in Norway, on the Norwegian continetal shelf and abroad. Gravity maps and aeromagnetic anomaly maps are also avalable.
