Duration

The Kola Ecogeochemistry Project has a duration of five years. It was initiated in 1992, and is to be concluded by the end of 1996. Three sub-projects are being carried out in succession:

  • A pilot project in 1992-1993
  • A catchment study in 1994-1995
  • A regional geochemical mapping program in 1995-1996

The duration of each phase listed above includes field work, sample preparation and analysis, data analysis/interpretation and at least preliminary reporting. Final reporting may extend beyond the indicated period.
